McMullen County’s Graham Blaha scored 10 points off the bench for the Cowboys, earning them the tally mark in the win column. The Cowboys beat San Isidro 75-38 on Tuesday, January 26.

A close first half was put to rest by Flour Bluff’s Henry Ybarra, who flushed a transition dunk in the fourth quarter and scored 17 points in the Hornets’ 74-57 win over Corpus Christi Moody on Tuesday, January 26.

From a 5A state semifinal football game to the court, Corpus Christi Veterans’s Cameron De La Pena netted 14 points in the Eagles’ 77-61 win over Corpus Christi Carroll on Tuesday, January 26.

Lyford’s Justin Vela wrapped up his night putting together 21 points in the Bulldogs’ home win over IDEA Donna 80-37 on Tuesday, January 26.

San Isidro’s Mia Alvarado scored a game-high 23 as the Lady Tigers upset No. 16 McMullen County 52-49 on Tuesday, January 26.
