- Los Fresnos: The Falcons once again top the poll. After getting the second-round monkey off its back and followed that up with the program’s first-ever trip to the Sweet 16.
- Sharyland Pioneer: After running the table in District 31-5A, the Diamondbacks have continued their dominance in the postseason, averaging a victory margin of 24 points.
- Santa Maria: The Cougars were the runner-up in District 32-2A, but have rattled off three playoff wins and looked sharp in the process. They are bound for the Sweet 16 once again.
- Hidalgo: The Pirates are playoff escape artist, winning its three playoff games by a combined five points. Wins are wins and Hidalgo is headed to the regional tourney.
- Vela: Despite falling short of the regional tournament, the Sabercats put together an impressive run to the third round that included a win over power Laredo Nixon.
- McAllen Rowe: The Warriors made it to the regional quarterfinals for the first time since 2016, but couldn’t get by another District 30-6A squad in Laredo United.
- San Perlita: The Trojans seemed destined for the Regional tournament but couldn’t make it back-to-back trips as Tige Johnson was sidelined following the area round.
- Santa Rosa: The Warriors once again made a deep run into the playoffs, but ran into a tough Corpus Christi London squad and fell short of a fifth-straight regional tourney.
- Port Isabel: The Tarpons got on a roll during district play and squeaked out two playoff victories before running into Pleasanton in the regional quarters.
- Donna: The Redskins were a surprise as the final team standing out of District 32-5A. The run would come to an end in a loss to Corpus Christi Ray.
